(12-second time-lapse, midnight at Six Mile Lake)
Wow, it's really something how time flies by. In all my time writing
and rockin' at this here space, I've never had the kind of lapse (from
writing, updates etc) that I have had in the last half of 2009. It's
pretty much the same old in these parts, though. Concentrating on
being at home with our wonderful Sam Aengus who is growing like a weed,
talking non-stop and running all around like a freak. It's
absolutely fascinating and I feel so fortunate to have this time with him.
I've been writing a fair amount, have the idea in place for my next
recording...it's just a matter of finding the right time to make it
happen. It's going to happen quickly and be pretty lo-fi. Most
importantly, the proceedings will likely be void of showering, shaving and
general hygeine...and oh, there'll be music I think too. I kinda
hope the stink of being there will rub off on the recordings. Not
the actual stink, just the essence of stink. Ahhh, you know what I
mean.
