Tiny Increments is singer-songwriter Scott Cooper's third full-length record (debut "Strumming" in 2002; 2004's "Popfizz"), featuring 11 rootsy, back-to-basics folk pop songs that demonstrate the Midland ON native's keen eye for catching love and life's tiniest and oft-missed moments and stories.   As the adage goes, "...take care of the small details, the big ones will take care of themselves.

"Tiny Increments" was produced by Cooper and (national touring artist/friend) Rob Szabo.  Wisely a band was assembled from friends and respected local musicians, well-known and admired for their ego-less "song-first" approach to music.  Adam Warner (Justin Rutledge, Creaking Tree String Quartet), Caroline Brooks (Good Lovelies), Christine Bougie (Serena Ryder, Amy Milan), Dean Drouillard (Sarah Slean, Matthew Barber), Bryden Baird (Feist, Hayden), Alex McMaster (Lily Frost, Christine Fellows), Steve Strongman (Steve Strongman Band, Tal Bachman), and of course, producer Rob Szabo.  The album was mixed by Cooper, Szabo, and Michael Chambers (Golden Dogs, Showroom), and lovingly mastered by J.J. Golden (Calexico/Richard Buckner) in sunny Ventura, CA.

Through several years of critically acclaimed recordings and strong live performances, Cooper has established himself on the Canadian music scene, garnering audience loyalty throughout Ontario, and currently expanding to Quebec and Western Canada.  His music has been used in both film and television (you've heard him on The Food Network's smash "The Surreal Gourmet", CTV's "Heartland", and PBS' "Roadtrip Nation").  Cooper's music also receives regular rotation on CBC and satellite radio across the country, and has charted on college/campus radio across North America, UK, and Germany.  He's also received rave reviews and national press from The Toronto Star (most notably by legendary music critic John Sakamoto's Anti-Hit List) and Exclaim! magazine who lauded, "'Tiny Increments' contains all the elements that fans of classic Canadian folk rock have come to expect over the last ten years, and Cooper appears poised to add his name to that list of highly successful artists with this album."

Both as a solo act, and with a band, Cooper has shared the stage with some of the country's brightest acts, such as:  Garth Hudson (The Band), Sarah Slean, Luke Doucet, Elliott Brood, Oh Susanna, Melissa McLelland, The Good Lovelies, Creaking Tree String Quartet, Hamell On Trial, Peter Katz, Kevin Fox, Po'Girl, John Wort Hannam, Sarah Noni Metzner, Michael Brennan, and Kirsten Jones.
